Our Purpose

To provide a spiritual, life-changing, and empowering environment where recovering addicts can discover their God-given potential, establish a healthy intentional lifestyle, master life skills, and become self-sufficient. 

Empowering drug addicts to stop drug abuse and relapse through long-term holistic recovery.

Empower House Ministries Inc. was founded in September of 2020.   We are a Kansas non-profit corporation and a 501-C3 non-profit organization.

Chuck has been very active in mission trips including relocating to Africa (Liberia and Sierra Leone) for a long-term mission trip. Chuck brings unique insight for establishing a vision, identifying problems, evaluating solutions,  and determining actionable sequential steps. Chuck has experience with facilities and Board operations.

 Visionary, real estate, and funding 


Victor is a visionary with experience in numerous mission trips and decades of experience with tenants as a property owner. Victor is creative in structuring financial arrangements for investment properties. Victor is the broker of a real estate company and co-broker with a second real estate company.

Extensive nonprofit experience and life skill expertise.


Tammy has 30 years of experience including teaching essential life skills to adults.   Her careers includes working extensively for nonprofit organizations.   She has served on several boards and brings expertise in board management and leadership.

Change motivator


Tagan is an Emporia native and a radio broadcaster with a strong passion for serving his community.   Tagan has a history of uplifting and encouraging others to be their best and is a motivator of change. Tagan is also a boxing coach who uses his skills to encourage youth and adults. He brings unique insight to the board and is always willing to share his opinions.  ion to the board.   He has served on several local non-profit boards.

Clinical Addictions Counselor


Gayle Taylor-Ford is the owner and executive director of Therapy Services LLC providing outpatient addiction treatment, non-emergency medical transportation, and cognitive and behavior therapies for acquired and traumatic brain injuries. As a clinical social worker and a clinical addictions counselor and multiple decades in recovery, she brings insight regarding the needs of residents in their recovery. She has state and federal advocacy experience as well as experience with licensing and compliance.

 Non-profit experience and pastor 


Melissa is the Executive Director of a non-profit related to recruiting and training jail pastors.   She is involved with jail ministry and is engaged with addicts and prior inmates on a daily basis. She is currently a licensed pastor pursuing ordination. Her 20 years of business experience can be applied to marketing and operations.
